The problem
Customer's test data lived in multiple personal folders across SharePoint. This started to cause issues when previous engineers left and new ones joined. Historically it was difficult to methodically audit data.
The solution
Built a purpose-built database with domain-specific schema. RQD, RMR, UCS, PLT, Is(50), all with correct units and validation rules already defined.
Bulk CSV upload with smart parsing. Auto-fixes common errors (date formats, unit inconsistencies). Data queryable the same day you upload it and additional trends and calculations ran on uploaded data.
Interactive charts for high-density data like LAS files. Filter by rock type, weathering grade, depth interval. Export publication-ready charts.
